STA Taught Courses

Dates for the Diploma Part 1 portion of course will be as follows: Lecture 1 (Weds 14 October); Lecture 2 (Weds 21 October); Lecture 3 (Weds 28 October); Lecture 4 (Weds 4 November); Lecture 5 (Weds 11 November); Lecture 6 (Weds 18 November); Lecture 7 (Weds 25 November); Diploma Part 1 Exam (Monday 7 December). The live online lectures will be held 6.00–8.00pm. 

The lectures will be ONLINE using Zoom.

The Part 1 Exam will be held during the day on Monday 7 December 2026

The Diploma Part 2 portion of the course commences Wednesday 6 January 2027. It is made up of 12 lectures and the Part 2 exam. Specific dates are:

Lecture 1 (Weds 6 Jan); Lecture 2 (Weds 13 Jan); Lecture 3 (Weds 20 Jan); Lecture 4 (Weds 27 Jan); Lecture 5 (Weds 3 Feb); Lecture 6 (Weds 10 Feb); Lecture 7 (Weds 17 Feb); Lecture 8 (Weds 24 Feb); Lecture 9 (Weds 3 March); Lecture 10 (Weds 10 March); Lecture 11 (Weds 17 March); Lecture 12 (Weds 24 March)

The lectures will be ONLINE using Zoom.

The Part 2 exam will be held during the day on Thursday 22 April 2027 

The 2026-7 Diploma Part 1 & 2 Course Package costs £3,399 if booked by 30 September 2026 (early bird); £4,399 thereafter. 

If a student misses a lecture for any reason then they can catch up watching a video recording from our bank of videoed lectures.

The course takes place from October to December each year. Lectures are delivered via live Zoom webinar and are fully interactive with students being able to ask questions as they would in a classroom. Any students unable to watch live will be able to catch up with a recording post event and email the STA office if any questions.  They may also post questions on the STA Student Forum which will be answered by course lecturers. Students are able to gain access to all lecture recordings for the duration of the course.

The course includes the seven evening lectures and the Diploma Part 1 examination.

The course costs £1,495 if booked by 30 September 2026; £1,695 thereafter. Registration for the 2026 Course will open in May 2026.
