Eddie Tofpik MSTA

Eddie started from school in the City of London as a Warrants Clerk for LME Metals traders Transworld Metals in 1980. Realising the potential the City had in the 1980s for growth of the financial services sector and recognising his natural savvy as a market trader in his youth in Petticoat Lane in London could be advantageous, he developed his career through Bullion trading at Mocatta & Goldsmid; Energy, Agricultural, Softs, Metals Futures and Options at Gerald Commodities, FX at Dean Witter plus FX, Futures, Equity and Fixed Income at Capcom. By 1990 he’d traded or brokered all of these & had enough expertise to have managed desks in all plus a temporary secondment to Chicago setting up there London based clients.

In 1991 he joined Esprit Brokers Limited (precursor to ADMISI) to develop FX and LME business and started what is now the 24 Hour FX Desk of ADMISI. This year, after 26 successful years as Head of FX he moved to start a new role at ADMISI as Head of Technical Analysis and Senior Markets Analyst at ADMISI. In 1984 he was originally introduced by colleagues & friends to Technical Analysis & has been an avid practitioner ever since. Eddie is a Member of The Society of Technical Analysts in the UK and an Affiliate of the Market Technicians Association of the US. He’s also a Member of ACI-UK (the FX dealers association) & the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. He was nominated for ‘Best Video or Podcast’ in the Forex Best Awards 2016 by FXStreet.com and in 2018 for the ‘Game Changers Award’ by Finance Monthly.

At ADMISI, Eddie produces and publishes ‘Eddie’s Crayons…’, a monthly Technical Analysis review of FX and selected commodity futures markets along with other Daily & Weekly Technical Analysis. Additionally, he’s a regular commentator on FX with CME London’s YouTube channel plus guest’s on Core Finance TV, FXStreet.com, LAR (Live Analysis Room) and Voice America’s ‘Engage with Andy Busch’ radio show. He’s also spoken at many international conferences and seminars. Eddie was a visiting lecturer at the University of Essex, teaching the FX section on the short Masters level course – Financial Trading Analysis (‘FTA’).

Karen Jones BSc FSTA

Karen Jones

Karen Jones is the former Managing Director and Head of FICC Technical Analysis Research at Commerzbank and is an independent technical analyst and consultant with over 25 years of experience in financial markets. Karen has advised many hedge funds, asset managers, private investors, and trading firms on technical analysis, trading strategies, and market risk management.

She was previously responsible for managing the technical analysis research product for Commerzbank’s institutional clients across fixed income, FX, equity indices, and commodities. Prior to this, she was Chief Technical Analyst for a number of well-known brokerage firms. She is a well-respected speaker at trading and technical analysis conferences and has taught technical analysis in various workshops and courses.

In addition to her work with STA, Karen is a regular contributor to trading and financial websites and is passionate about educating others about technical analysis. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Fellow of the Society of Technical Analysts (FSTA).

Jeff Boccaccio MSTA

Jeff Boccaccio

Jeff Boccaccio has over 20 years of experience in the financial sector having worked for Deloitte Consulting and Deutsche Bank before starting his own firm. He is the founder of The Trading Academy, where he teaches retail traders how to apply technical analysis and trading strategies. Jeff is a passionate advocate for risk management and works to provide traders with the tools they need to succeed in financial markets.

He is also involved in public speaking and is regularly invited to speak at financial conferences and seminars. Jeff is a member of the Society of Technical Analysts and has appeared in various financial publications as an expert on market trends and technical analysis.

Keval Dhokia BSc(Hons) MA MSTA MCSI

Keval Dhokia

Keval has been in the commodities trading and research industry for over a decade. He began his career in metals trading at Merrill Lynch and later moved to work for various hedge funds in London. He currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for a trading firm and is an expert in market structure and risk management.

In addition to his professional background, Keval is also an active member of the Society of Technical Analysts and the Market Technicians Association. He regularly shares his insights on trading and technical analysis at various financial conferences and has written extensively on the use of technical analysis in market forecasting.

Alan Dunne MSTA, Founder & CEO of Archive Capital, has a strong background in technical analysis and trading. He has worked in various roles across the financial sector, including as a senior analyst at top trading firms. Alan is particularly focused on algorithmic trading strategies and how they can be combined with traditional technical analysis to achieve better results.

He is an advocate for using quantitative techniques in technical analysis and regularly speaks at industry events. Alan has also published papers on the intersection of finance, technology, and technical analysis, and he is an active member of multiple professional organizations.

Patricia is an Independent Technical Analyst, University lecturer and regular guest at IG Index TV. She specializes in applying technical analysis for predicting trends in FX and equity markets. Patricia has worked as an educator, helping to train the next generation of technical analysts, and she has contributed to various financial publications.

Her analytical skills are renowned, particularly in risk management, which she regularly discusses at financial conferences and seminars. Patricia holds an MBA and has experience working with both institutional and private investors to help them improve their trading strategies.
